The procedure itself is very quick and easy. The total procedure takes less than 15 minutes – cleanse the face/skin, use alcohol prep wipes to remove any residual oil, dirt and make-up from the application area, apply the salicylic acid solution, wait 5 minutes and rinse the area, then apply moisturizer and sunscreen. In most cases, the patient can return to their normal activities immediately after the peel procedure.
